Karen
and Bruce
Audie have an exciting opportunity to be part of a team of people
participating in a mission outreach this coming March in Nicaragua.
This outreach is being coordinated by ADios Ministries
of Portland, Maine. Our team will be working with CICRIN (Nicaraguan
Christian Children's Center) on the island of Ometepe. In order to make this trip a reality, Karen and I are asking for some assistance. First and foremost, we are asking that you keep us and our teammates in your prayers - starting now and during the trip. Secondly, we are asking for financial support. The trip is going to cost us $3000. We certainly do not want any one to assume a financial burden, but we are asking you to consider the opportunity to help these people through us. iPad
RAFFLEIn order to raise money, we are raffling off a brand new iPad and Belkin case. You can buy $10 raffle tickets right here online. Every ticket you buy will support our trip - please buy as many as you'd like. If you are willing to sell raffle tickets for us, please let us know and we will get a supply to you. The easiest way to financially support us is online. Click on the button below to safely and securely buy raffle tickets for an iPad. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can use your credit card on the next page, after you click on 'Buy Now'. Please be sure to let us know if there is a problem with online payment. If it's on your heart to help the poor, please use this opportunity that we can share with you and you can share with us. ![]() Karen and Bruce with Jean

Nicaragua is the second poorest country in the western hemisphere (Haiti is the poorest). You cannot imagine the challenges and hardships facing all those who live there. We will be involved in doing community work projects and construction, educational outreach with the kids, including music, crafts, sports, arts, games and Bible lessons. By God's grace we believe that we will be assisting those who we meet, by not only meeting their physical needs, but also by sharing God's love for them. To be granted this opportunity to travel and minister is a great honor, and I cannot begin to express how excited we are. The 9 days spent in Nicaragua will prove to be both rewarding and challenging. These opportunities have forever changed our perspective on life. If you wish to contact us, please send a message on Facebook: Bruce @ https://www.facebook.com/bruce.audie Karen @ https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1190347664 Thank you for taking time to read this letter. Any support will be truly appreciated. In God's grace.... Bruce and Karen The 2010 Nicaragua Adios Ministries trip - watch the video Thank you for you help! ![]() Bruce in Guatemala
What Jesus did for us is inspiration enough, but we also reflect on these scriptures to guide us: Acts 20:35 - In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” 2 Corinthians 9:7 - Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Proverbs 19:17 - He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him for what he has done. |
